2026 Woodmont Wahoos Swim & Dive Team
Team registration for this year is now closed, but our coaches are available for lessons for swimmers of all ages and abilities.
The Woodmont Wahoos Swim & Dive Team creates an opportunity for our North Chesterfield, Virginia community’s young swimmers and divers to develop their skills to the best of their ability to help provide them with a lifetime of water safety and enjoyment. Our program is guided by the principles of good sportsmanship, teamwork, individual and team improvement, competitiveness with a focus on fun, and, above all, the cultivation of a supportive community spirit committed to kindness, inclusivity, and mutual respect.
- Swim and Dive team members must be Woodmont Pool members, aged 5-18. Join the pool here, and then join the team. Note: if you are a member of another local pool that does not offer a dive team and you would like to learn more about diving at Woodmont, please email us for additional information and a different registration form.
- The costs to participate in Swim & Dive are below. Registration includes JRAC League fee of $25 per athlete:
$155 for Swim Team
$165 for Dive Team
$295 for dual sport Swim AND Dive - For safety and to get the most out of practice, young swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool unassisted (Doggie paddle is totally fine! Pausing on the ropes for a breath is totally fine as long as swimmers start again and cross the pool unassisted!) Coaches will assess swimmers during the first few days of in-the-water practice and any young swimmers who are not quite able to swim the length of the pool unassisted will be referred to our Junior Wahoos program.
- Swim practice schedules will include an evening practice option for those swimmers who are not able to make the morning practices and would not be able to join swim team unless they can practice in the evenings. Evening swim practice space is limited so we can make sure that non-swim team member families have use of at least half of the pool at the same time that practices are occurring. The registration form includes a space where you need to indicate that you need an evening practice spot, and those spots will be first-come, first-reserved, and will be the assigned practice time for the season.
