8 & Under Swimmers

This age group is always our largest, and due to current CDC safety guidelines, we will again need to limit the number of 8 & Under swimmers our team can accommodate this year. If you have an 8 & Under swimmer, be sure to sign them up ASAP to reserve their spot on the team!

Additionally, although your 8 & Under kiddo does not need to be a super swimmer yet, they should be able to comfortably swim the length of the pool (doggie paddle is fine!) Coaches will only be able to offer limited hands-on assistance again this year, so if you are not sure about your child’s comfort and ability level, our coaches recommend having your child attend some group or private lessons before the start of the season. Reach out to the Coach Abbey or Coach Erica for recommendations and information!

Splashing Good Times Ahead

We have a great season planned, with competitive meets and fun team events. VA Swim Shop will be at swim practice on Wednesday, May 26 to fit everyone for our official team suits. In the meantime, visit our Woodmont Wahoos Team Store to stock up on Woodmont logo gear before the start of the season and start showing your team spirit!
