-Just as it is during Practice please refrain from sideline coaching during Meets, this can be confusing to the swimmers and inhibits the coaches from doing their jobs.
-The coaches have the best interest of your Swimmers in mind and with that being said they will need to be fully available to focus on the Swimmers during Meets and Practices. Please contact the Coaches via email to set up a later time to discuss something.

**Swim Caps** Why wear them?-
- Prevents Hair from Getting in Your Face
- Eliminates Drag (So You Can Swim Faster)
- Keeps Hair Out of the Pool
- Helps Your Fans (Parents/Family) Spot You in the Pool
VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP INSTRUCTIONS:
It takes A LOT of people to make each swim meet happen! Each swim team family is required to earn 8 volunteer points for the season. For the first meet we have 55 volunteer positions available! We anticipate that this first meet will be relatively short (approximately 2 hours rather than 4) since only our team will be swimming; therefore, we will not divide the meet into two halves and we will only have one volunteer shift (4-6 pm). All other meets are divided into 2 halves and will have 2 shifts.
Volunteer positions requiring training will be indicated in the position description.
There are also plenty of untrained positions that anyone can do and are ideal for new families and older siblings (timer, runner, hospitality, set-up, "mite"/8 & under parent, clerk-of-course seating helper).
Volunteer sign-ups close on Friday morning. If you need to cancel your volunteer sign-up after that, please email [email protected] so we can together find a replacement.
Instructions for signing up:
- Log in to the website:https://wrawahoos.swimtopia.
com/ found in the upper right hand corner. - If you have not yet created your Swimtopia account, click the link included in Account Activation Instructions emailed from Swimtopia after Registraion. Set up a password.

- Click the green JOB SIGNUP tab and sign up for volunteer shifts (note one parent may sign up both parents for jobs -- scroll down and you’ll see the other parent listed).

CHECK IN FOR VOLUNTEERS: There will be a table by the pool as you first walk in. Erin Lowery will be checking in Volunteers. After you get seated please check in with Erin and get a name badge (even if you aren’t volunteering until the second half).
- Swimmers: Coaches will be at another table near the diving well where your swimmer will need to go directly to check in with us.
MEET BUDDIES: It is time for Meet buddies! We have paired each Swimmer of the 5-8yr Group with an older buddy. The purpose of meet buddies is to encourage the kids to cheer each other on. Meet Buddies are responsible for supporting and cheering their buddy on at every meet. Buddies will be communicated after the Meet Events are Seeded.
Thank you all once again for bringing your hard working and enthusiastic Swimmers to the pool each and everyday! Let's kick some Bu-bbles!!
Go Wahoos!
