Last year the Woodmont Wahoos placed 1st in our League Division Regular Season, come help us do it again this year!

We are planning a fun 2022 season. A few important notes:

• Swim and Dive team members must be Woodmont Pool members. Click here to join our friendly, laid-back pool.
• For safety and to get the most out of practice, young swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool unassisted (doggie paddle is fine!) There will be a swim check on the first day of in-the-water practice, so if you aren't sure about your child's comfort level in the water, have them do some lessons at a local gym or swim school before the first week of practice. Swimmers who are not yet quite ready for Swim team will be referred to our Swim Team Prep program, which starts in June.
• Due to our cozy pool size (6 lanes) and our commitment to giving personal attention to each team member, we have to limit the number of participants in each Swim practice age group, so be sure to register right away!
• To ensure that each swimmer and diver gets the most out of their time with our amazing coaches, we made some adjustments to the practice schedule for this season, view the new practice schedule here.

Get your gear on!

We have a great season planned, with competitive meets and fun team events. VA Swim Shop will be at swim practice on Wednesday, May 25 to fit everyone for our official team suits. In the meantime, visit our Woodmont Wahoos Team Store to stock up on Woodmont logo gear before the start of the season and start showing your team spirit! A percentage of the total of your purchase comes back to the Wahoos.

And finally, we have lots of fun ways throughout the season to support the team from the Duck Dive Family Event to concession sales and the 50/50 raffles. We also rely on businesses, families, and community members to be Team Sponsors. On the registration form there is an opportunity to sign up to become a Family & Friends sponsor and be recognized on our website for your support of the team.
