Before We Begin-5/23
Hello Wahoo Parents and Guardians!
Just a few more days before the 2022 Swim Season begins and the Coach team just cannot wait!
Before we begin our Swim season here are a few notes to help us get started.
Pool Set Up Help: As previously noted, the necessary repairs to Woodmont's skimmers (filters) and lights have expereinced delays. This is no problem for us as a Community as well as for the Coaches. We can handle a speed bump or two! We do need help on Sunday 5/22 from 1-3pm to get the pool deck set up for the Summer and esspecially for Swim Practice. Your time will go towards your Membership MVOP hours. Find Ginger Brooks, she will have the sign up. Thank you for any time you can lend to helping Woodmont!
Team Suit Fitting: The team swim suit fitting will be on Wednesday 5/25. Swimmers can try on suits and order which will be delivered at a later practice. Swim caps and goggles will also be available for sale. There will be a Woodmont swim suit "Hand-me-down" box to start collecting 5/23. Drop off suits that your kids have outgrown and hopefully they can find a new home with a younger Woodmont swimmer! If swimmers aren't able to make the fitting on 5/25 they can go directly to the shop at NOVA of Virginia Aquatics - Regency Mall (1420 North Parham Road). At the shop let them know that you are ordering a suit for the Woodmont swim team which they should have in-stock.

June 6 - July 19 (Monday - Friday):

Volunteer Coaches: If you have an older Swimmer who is going to help our younger Age Groups this Summer, thank you for sharing your young leader with us! There will be a communication forthcoming with more details for them.
