SWIMMERS' EVENTS:

Thank you for your timely RSVPs. It is so helpful when it comes time to seed the meet.

Event seeding is based on a myriad of factors that we must consider.
Requests for specific events are not able to be fulfilled. Over the course of the season, swimmers will have opportunities for new challenges and growth in their races!
NOTE: Before coming to the meet please have your Swimmer's events written on their hand.
SWIMMERS:
  • -Get good rest the night before.
  • -Hydrate really well the day of.
  • -Come ready to have fun! Your hard work in practice will shine through in your races!
  • -Avoid sugary food and drink before and during the Meet.
  • -Keep it positive!
  • -Remember your good sportsmanship! You practice it everyday, encourage and cheer on your teammates at the Meet!
  • -What to Bring: towel(s), goggles, swim cap, healthy snacks, team suit, chairs, sharpies, sunscreen, card games and toys (baby pool will be closed), $ for food, WATER!

PARENTS:
  • -You are an important part of the team! Your support matters!
  • -Keep it positive especially after races. Think about the last time you worked really hard on something (maybe a race, built something, led a project at work) and shared your efforts with your family. Were you hoping for their support or immediate critiques of your accomplishments? Probably not! Help them focus on the effort and help them learn their times as that is where they will be able to see their personal progress. Enjoy this season with your Swimmers, and as their Coaches we will focus on how to help your Swimmer improve and grow throughout the season.
  • -For both practice and Meets please refrain from sideline coaching. This can be confusing to the Swimmers and inhibit the Coaches from doing their jobs.
  • -Did we say keep it positive? Encourage them to challenge themselves, encourage them to recognize the work they are doing. You are not only a role model for your children but your parent peers as well, this is a great opportunity to motivate nearby Swimmers and their families.

SWIM TEAM SUITS & CAPS:
-Wear your team suit to compete. If you do not have a team suit or jammer a suit with black and dark blue (team suit colors) is accepted.
-Swimmers wearing caps must wear the cap of their summer league team or a cap with nothing on it. They cannot wear their USA Swimming or high school team cap.
-Swimmers with long hair are required to wear it up in a ponytail or in a swim cap.
- Girls: No tie-back jolyn suits are allowed or any type of suit with a tie.
- Boys: Suits must not go above the navel or below the knees. Make sure your swimmer's suit fits properly.
Exemptions will be granted only for conflicts due to the swimmer’s verified religious beliefs, verified medical conditions or other reasons deemed appropriate. You must have a note for me to turn in to the Referee BEFORE the meet starts in order for them to be exempt. For more information: JRAC Rulebook
**Swim Caps** Why wear them?-

Food: Our hospitality team will be offering freshly grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, and veggie burgers (cash only), and the Kona Ice truck will be onsite.
