Due to rainy weather and chilly temperatures, coaches have canceled swim and dive practices for today, Wednesday, 5/21/25.

Important! The Remind app has made changes to their platform. If you have not been receiving Remind messages from the coaches about practice changes, please follow these steps asap:

-Install/update the Remind app on your phone.

-In the Remind app, go to Account Settings/Notifications and enable app notifications. Phoneservice providers are no longer allowing SMS texts to be sent out throughRemind unless you are a K-12 school organization, but we can still message through the app, so enable app notifications to make sure you are receiving team updates from the coaches.

-On your phone, go to settings and under notifications, confirm that Remind has permissions to send you notifications and alerts on your phone through the app.

-Join the appropriate Remind groups for your athletes.

For Swim, text @woodmont25 to 81010, or from the Remind app select Add Class/Join existing class, and enter woodmont25

For Dive, text @woodmontdi to 81010, or from the Remind app select Add Class/Join existing class, and enter woodmontdi

Remind app is how our coaches communicate about practice changes, weather delays/cancellations, last-minute meet updates, and other important, time-sensitive information. It’s important for all parents/guardians to be set up on the Remind app, and you can also have your older swimmers with phones download the app and join.

Team Gear and Swag

Virginia Swim Shop will be on-site at Woodmont pool for our team suit fitting tomorrow, Thursday, May 22 from 4:30-6:30pm, rain or shine. They will be sizing and placing orders for our team suit and will have goggles for sale. We will also be selling Wahoos swim caps at the suit fitting and at the first couple of swim meets. If you can’t make the team suit fitting, you can visit Virginia Swim Shop at their NOVA Regency location and let them know you need the Woodmont team suit. (Shop entrance located underneath the parking deck (exterior entrance) at Regency Mall.)
