What a year, Wahoos! Read on for some results and highlights.

Final Season Results

Our teams are not big in numbers, but we show up to swim and dive and get BIG results!

-Dive won 1 meet this season, pretty impressive since we are the smallest team in the league

-Dive won FIRST PLACE in the B Division at Champs

-Swim won *4* meets this season, typically swimming against bigger teams in the league

-Swim came in THIRD PLACE in the White Division at Champs

Way to go coaches and athletes! For more detailed results, vist the JRAC website.

Team Awards

Following a further review of meet results, it was discovered that there were several additional team members who should have been recognized for high points at the awards celebration. These athletes have received their medal or trophy and we want to give a special Wahoo shout out to Eliana Reynolds, Quincy Sullivan, Alex Brooks, Simon Byard, and Millie Lombard for their high point scoring this season! Here is the list of all award winners this season:

Records & Honors

We had two graduating seniors this year that we got to recognize from the blocks in their final regular season meet as *competing* Wahoos. (You’re always a Wahoo, though, even when you graduate!) In addition to both being long-time, highly valued team members, our two seniors distinguished themselves and the team this season.

Matthew Wolfle broke not one, not two, but three Woodmont team records at Champs–50 Meter Back, 100 Meter Free, and 50 Meter Fly. We will be adding his name to a few more spots on the pool record board soon!

James Lowery was a recipient of JRAC League’s Michael J. Stott Scholarship--an honor bestowed upon individuals who exemplify excellence, dedication, and leadership both in and out of the pool.

Season Photos

We are thankful for our volunteer team photographer, James Walker, for capturing fantastic pictures of the team at swim and dive meets again this season!

Big Thank You

The Woodmont Aquatics Committee would like to give a huge thank you to the coaches, the parents, the WRA board, and especially all of our swimmers and divers for a great, memory-making season full of fun.

Go Wahoos!
